Yazd Metallurgy Industries

Yazd Metallury Industries (YMI) was incorporated in 1961 in Iran with registration number 860 and tax number 411315443678. YMI is linked to the Iranian Defence Industries Organisation (DIO) and is a subsidiary of the Iranian Munitions Industries Group. The Managing Director of YMI is Sayyed Mohammad Sadat Hoseyni.

YMI is involved in the production and maintenance of products including copper foil, copper ingot and hydraulic sealing pumps. YMI participates in the manufacture of IR-1 centrifuge components at DIO facilities as part of Iran's missile progamme. YMI is also involved in the production of goods that could be used to manufacture either nuclear weapons or delivery systems for such weapons. By contributing to the acquisition of prohibited articles, goods, equipment, materials and technologies, YMI has supported Iran's development of nuclear weapons delivery systems.
