گروه صنایع شیشه و گاز یک شرکت ایرانی است که در زمینه تولید محصولات شیشهای فعال است. این شرکت طیف گستاردهای از محصولات شیشهای، از جمله بطری، جار، بلوز، و سایر ظروف را تولید میکند. گروه صنایع شیشه و گاز خود را بعنوان بنیاد گذار تولید صنعتی شیشه در کشور میداند و محصولات شیشهای برای بازار داخلی و خارجی تامین میکند.
گروه صنایع شیشه و گاز در تاریخ ۲۳ فروردین ۱۳۳۹ بعنوان شرکت سهامی تاسیس و در تاریخ ۲۲ اردیبهشت در اداره ثبت و مالکیت صنعتی تهران به ثبت رسید. در سال ۱۳۵۰ به شرکت سهامی خاص تبدیل و در سال ۱۳۵۶ مجدداً به شرکت سهامی عام ارتقا یافت. این شرکت در تاریخ ۳۰ مرداد ۱۳۶۹ در بورس اوراق بهادر تهران با شناسه ملی ۱۰۱۰۰۸۸۹۲۷۸ پذیرفته شد.
گروه از واحدهای فرعی مادر تخصصی گسترده صنایع غذایی سیناست. لازم به ذکر است که واحد کنترل کننده نهایی آن بنیاد مستضعفان انقلاب اسلامی است و در ۲۸ آبان ۱۳۹۹، به همین علت شرکت تحت تحریم آمریکا قرار گرفت. دولت آمریکا ادعا میکند که این بنیاد خودش را سازمان خیریهای وانمود میکند و به نفع «مظلومین و فقیران» کار میکند اما در حقیقت داراییهای بنیاد از مردم مصادره شده بودند و برای پر کردن جیب متحدان سیاسی رژیم و آزار کردن مخالفان رژیم به کار میرود.
