Milavous Group Ltd was established on the 28 January in 2022. Its registration number is 11825098. It currently has offices in the UAE, Swizterland and Romania. Its turnover for 2022 was reportedly 15 billion USD. On the surface Milavous Group Ltd advertises itself as specializing in commodity trading, shipping and investment solutions. They work across several sectors including oil, gas, petrochemicals, agriculture and metals. The company claims to have a varied portfolio that "expands to production, maritime solutions through our logistics assets and investments through mergers, acquisitions and engineering solutions".
Milavous Group Ltd and Milavous Commodities Holding Limited are affiliates of Milavous Group Ltd. US news outlet Bloomberg reports that Milavous is linked to a large number of companies, which can be seen in the image below.
Milavous Group Ltd forms an important part of a network of organizations controlled by Hossein Shamkhani, the son of the former Iranian Defense Minister, Ali Shamkhani who was killed in an Israeli strike on 28 February 2026, which has been involved in transporting weapons to Russia via the Caspian Sea.
Milavous Group Ltd relies on rebranding of crude oil and other petroleum products from Iran and Russia in third-party jurisdictions, such as Fujairah, UAE to conceal their origin for export purposes via shadow fleets. This oil empire is known as the "Shamkhani Network." Milavous Group denies any connection to Shamkhani.
