محمد نصیری پور

Mohammad Nasiri Pour is the Deputy Prosecutor of Tehran and Acting Head of the Prosecutor’s Office for Tehran’s District 33 (which is known as Evin Prosecution Office). He has previously supervised Evin Court, both as an investigator and sentence enforcement judge.

The European Union sanctions record states that as part of his role in the judiciary, he is responsible for fair trial violations such as denying access to a lawyer, inhumane detention conditions, exerting pressure on family members and psychological torture.

The EU sanctions also state that he participated in prosecutions against civil and social activists, including women’s rights activists, as well as against journalists and political activists critical of the Islamic Republic.

The EU sanctioned Nasiri Pour in March 2026 alongside three interrogators from the Evin Courthouse: Amirhossein Tarian, Naser Jalayer Sarnaghi , and Mahmoud Haj-Moradi.
